Description

Caldwell 4- The Iris Nebula (NGC 7023)

The Iris nebula is a reflection nebula, located in the constellation Cepheus, and it's about 1,300 light years away from earth.

The nebula is made of interstellar dust which is blocking the light of the stars behind it.
The name "Iris" comes from the blue light emitted by the star SAO 19158 in it's core which resembles the Iris flower. 🌸

This nebula is very tricky to capture because it doesn't emit any light, but i think i did a good job pulling the dust out.

Please let me know what you think🙏🏻
